Barcelona star Ansu Fati looks set to sign a new contract which will include a staggering release clause.
That will likely see Manchester United's interest in the Spain international end this summer.
The Red Devils have been monitoring the 17-year-old, who has sent shockwaves through the footballing world.
Just last week, Fati put on a sublime display for his national side against Ukraine in the Nations League.
He scored the third in a 4-0 win but was the best player on the pitch and Spain boss Luis Enrique was blown away by the teenager.
He said after the match: "It's not normal for him to have this spark and self-confidence at this age."
Fati is also coming off the back of a breakthrough campaign at the Nou Camp where he scored seven in 24 La Liga appearances.
And according to Mundo Deportivo, it has led to Barca doing everything in their power to keep him at the club.
They report that the youngster looks set to sign a new contract, brokered by super-agent Jorge Mendes.
His initial deal was set to expire in 2022 and will represent a massive boost for under-fire president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
It will also likely see United's interest in the forward end – who have been linked with him throughout the summer.
Another reason why the Red Devils may be put off is because of his release clause.
Mundo Deportivo further report that it will be boosted to a staggering £365m sum, nearly half of Lionel Messi's.
Fati will be in line for a regular spot in the first-team as Ronald Koeman looks to the next chapter of Barcelona's history with the winger at the forefront.
When asked about the near future under the Dutchman, he said: "I will keep training as hard as I can and if I get an opportunity I will take it."
