Raging fans ‘never want Xhaka in Arsenal kit again’ after fresh red card blunder

Raging Arsenal fans have claimed they never want to see Granit Xhaka in a Gunners shirt again following his latest red card in the Carabao Cup.

The Gunners travelled to Merseyside to take on Liverpool in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup on Thursday evening.

However, Xhaka made Mikel Arteta's sides task even more difficult when he scythed down Diogo Jota in the 25th minute.

Xhaka attempted to bring down Andy Robertson's long ball, but he only made contact with the Reds attacker.

And Arsenal fans have been left fuming at Xhaka's actions with a spot in the final up for grabs.

"Single-handedly have Arteta to blame for this man still being in our team and in every starting lineup," one fan fumed.

Another added: "He should never play another game for us."

"How many times will Xhaka f*** us. Time and time again for a player aged 29 or so years. Taking the p***," a third replied.

A fourth tweeted: "I'm honestly done with Granit Xhaka," with a barrage of angry emojis.
