Saul Niguez took part in his first Chelsea training session on Thursday after completing a loan move from Atletico Madrid earlier this week.
The Spain midfielder joined Thomas Tuchel's side in the dying minutes of transfer deadline day, securing a season-long loan switch to Stamford Bridge which includes the option of a permanent £30million transfer next summer.
He arrives in west London with plenty of experience, having won La Liga, the Copa del Rey and two Europa Leagues in 10 years at Atletico, while also reaching the 2015/16 Champions League final.
Now Saul is set to help the Blues mount a Premier League title challenge and defend their European crown in the 2021/22 campaign.
On Thursday he met some of his new team-mates and carried out the first training session of his Chelsea career at Cobham, going through the gears alongside the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Thiago Silva and compatriot Marcos Alonso.
The 26-year-old was also pictured chatting with Kepa Arrizabalaga, whom he knows well from their time together at both senior and Under-21 level for Spain.

Tuchel is currently putting players who were either not selected for international duty or could not travel to a red-listed country through their paces at Cobham.
And according to football.london, the Blues have organised an in-house game between those first-team stars and the club's Development Squad on Friday.
