Tottenham have announced the signing of a promising young defender on a five-year contract – but he won't join until 2025.
Spurs have confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Hajduk Split over the arrival of 16-year-old centre back Luka Vuskovic. However, his five-year contract that will run until 2030 won't start for another two years.
Vuskovic, a Croatia international at youth level, became the youngest player to ever feature in the Croatian top flight back in February. Likened to Gerard Pique by local media, he already stands at 6ft 4in tall and is noted for his heading ability.
