Wolves are close to signing Paraguayan winger Enso Gonzalez from Club Libertad on a six-year contract.
The 18-year-old has flown to the UK to complete a £5million deal and is set to become the club’s latest signing as they look to continue to rebuild under Gary O’Neil.
The club have taken three points from their opening three games in the Premier League this season, picking up their first victory at the weekend against Everton following defeats to Manchester United and Brighton.
Gonzalez would become Wolves’ fifth signing of the summer transfer window following the arrivals of Matheus Cunha, Boubacar Traore, Tom King and Matt Doherty.
He has made 38 appearances for Libertad, all coming last season, netting four times.

It’s not unlikely Gonzalez’s arrival will be the last piece of business Wolves do before Friday’s transfer deadline, either, with Girona centre-back Santi Bueno, 24, also wanted by the Premier League outfit.
While Goncalo Guedes has returned to Benfica on a season-long loan from Wolves, Matheus Nunes was left out of the side’s squad for their Carabao Cup win over Blackpool on Tuesday.
The midfielder is believed to have refused to train to try and force through a move to Manchester City ahead of the deadline after interest emerged from the Treble winners.
City, however, are prepared to walk away from a potential deal, with Wolves holding out for over £60million and City not wanting to pay above £55million for the Portugal star.
