Much of Nick Kyrgios’ recent social media activity has led to headlines about his up-and-down relationship with girlfriend Chiara Passari — but his latest Instagram post is straight from the heart.
The Aussie tennis star posted a motivational quote followed by a lengthy caption aiming to inspire his followers.

The photo he uploaded included his quote from the Citi Open in Washington in 2019, which read: “I was a very overweight kid. Got told by coaches, teachers that I wasn’t going to be very good.
“People can just relate to people telling you you can’t do anything, I feel like I’m proving a lot of people wrong.”
Kyrgios followed that up with an emotional statement about the obstacles he has overcome, offering to lend a helping hand to anyone “feeling lost”.
“This is for anyone who struggles with motivation, struggles with what their purpose is, for those who have days when you don’t want to get out of bed, IT’S OK,” Kyrgios wrote.
“I’ve been to places that I’m not proud of, people telling me all the time, ‘waste of talent’, ‘disappointment’. Dealt with disgusting racism, got told by people close to me they have lost hope.
“I know what it feels like when you think no one is understanding the struggles that are in your head. I’m telling you right now, everything will be OK, enjoy this beautiful life in front of you, do what makes YOU happy. Don’t take this opportunity for granted.
“Feel free to reach out to me if you are feeling lost, or like you can’t go to anyone. I’M HERE for you.”

Kyrgios’ older brother Christos commented on the post, praising his sibling for such a “beautiful post”.
“So proud of you always. It’s not the struggles we go through that define us, but how tall we stand when we make it through the other side,” Christos wrote.
“Keep inspiring, keep living, and keep turning up — never give up.”
At the time of writing, Kyrgios’ post had been liked more than 62,000 times and received more than 1000 comments.
Meanwhile, Kyrgios’ relationship with Passari appears back on solid ground after a rocky few weeks. After taking swipes at each other on social media, the pair were seen last week reuniting at Sydney airport, waiting to catch a flight together to their hometown of Canberra.
That suggested Kyrgios had abandoned any pursuit of Rita Ora after he reportedly slid into the DMs of the British pop star when she landed in Sydney to begin filming the new season of The Voice.
In February, Kyrgios and Passari wiped photos of each other from their Instagram profiles before uploading Valentine’s Day messages a few days later.
Passari also shared a series of cryptic Instagram stories, posting and then deleting an even more explosive message.
