The interview comes seven years after the pair had a row on X (formerly known as Twitter) following Kyrgios’ Wimbledon defeat to Andy Murray. “Never seen an Australian sulk like Nick Kyrgios. Normally ferocious proud competitors. Embarrassing to watch. Great job Andy Murray. As for you Nick Kyrgios, put your toys back in your pram and go home,” Morgan posted at the time.
The former world No 13 kept his response short, tweeting: “EAD” – an acronym which stands for ‘eat a d***’. But the pair seem to have put their feud to bed and will even address it in Kyrgios’ tell-all interview. “Sometimes you are a bit of a d***, but I can be a d***** on the tennis court. I think we’re very alike,” Kyrgios is heard saying in a clip.

The pair are expected to cover a range of topics, including Kyrgios’ struggles with his mental health. The seven-time title winner has previously opened up on his battles with depression and substance use and, earlier this year, he revealed that he checked into a psychiatric hospital following his exit from Wimbledon in 2019.
The 28-year-old is also set to discuss his role as the ‘bad boy of tennis’. In one teaser clip, Kyrgios says: “You feel like the bad guy in a movie, you feel like the villain. Every time I stepped on the court I felt like I could spoil somebody’s day. I love it.”
