And what about Man United &#8216;diving&#8217;?: Listen to It&#8217;s All Kicking Off, Mail Sport&#8217;s new podcast\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reading striker Andy Carroll in talks over a move to French club Amiens SC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Carroll has travelled to France ahead of sealing a switch to the Ligue 2 club.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Carroll re-joined Reading in September last year having previously played for the Royals between November 2021 and January 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The 34-year-old has less than a year remaining on his current contract and is now set to play for a foreign club for the first time in his career.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Across his two spells at Reading, Carroll has made 42 appearances, while he has scored eleven goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/30\/08\/74863299-0-image-m-2_1693379499934.jpg\" height=\"482\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Reading striker Andy Carroll is in talks over a surprise move to Ligue 2 club Amiens<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Another French club, Lyon are exploring a move for Leeds striker Georginio Rutter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rutter signed for Leeds in January from Hoffenheim for a club record fee rising to \u00a336million. He has scored just once in 17 games for Leeds.<\/p>\n<p>Carroll started Reading&#8217;s first two fixtures in League One this season but wasn&#8217;t involved in their next three games.<\/p>\n<p>The former England international made nine appearances for his country between 2010 and 2012, scoring twice.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Reading, Carroll has played for many other clubs during his lengthy career, representing Newcastle (twice), Preston, Liverpool, West Ham (twice) and West Brom.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amiens finished in 12th place in Ligue 2 last season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/30\/08\/74864001-12460279-image-a-26_1693381381465.jpg\" height=\"431\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Carroll is in his second spell at Reading but the striker could now be set to leave the club<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/30\/08\/74863905-12460279-image-a-19_1693381103643.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Lyon are exploring a move for Georginio Rutter, who is Leeds&#8217;
