Manchester City's starlet Cole Palmer looks set to switch Manchester for London, with Chelsea reportedly agreeing a £45million deal for the winger.

Palmer has been a regular off the bench for Pep Guardiola's side – but transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed he's said "yes" to a move to the Blues for more minutes.

The youngster has been tipped as one of City's top talents, and he's earned caps at international youth level with England. However, because Palmer has never played competitively for England, he could still play for St Kitts and Nevis.

St Kitts and Nevis is a dual-island nation located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea – home to some 47,000 people.

Palmer's dad's side of the family hails from the islands, and writing in the players' tribunal he revealed how much of an impact his dad had on his football.

He said: "He would throw the ball up and I would just control it, over and over again. Control it and then protect it. We would do that every single day whatever the weather – and my dad’s family is from St Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean.

"He hates going out in the cold. But he’d do it for me anyway."

Palmer has also proudly displayed his heritage when playing – wearing the St Kitts and Nevis flag alongside the English flag on his boots.

At City, Palmer has found the net in the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and the Champions League, but he's yet to strike gold in the Premier League.
