Unsurprisingly, the dramatic U-turn has generated fury among the fanbase.<\/p>\n<p>The family made it known last November that they were open to offers for either 100 per cent of the club, or a partial sale that left them with a sizeable stake. They&#8217;re desperate for money.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They can&#8217;t even compete on FFP [Financial Fair Play] anymore. Man Utd are talking like a midtable club when it comes to the transfer market. Man Utd turn over \u00a3500million, one of the highest revenue generating clubs in the world.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Chelsea, Arsenal can sign big players, Man Utd are scrambling around on FFP. The situation has failed to progress, though.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A source believes the logic for taking United off the market now is that the family will try to sell again in 2025, when they hope they may attract more bidders.<\/p>\n<p>United supporters held a sit-in protest at Old Trafford after their victory over Nottingham Forest and urged the Glazers to sell.
