Italy midfielder Marco Verratti has been left out of PSG’s UEFA official list of players who can play in the Champions League group stage this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The move means it is increasingly likely that Verratti will join Qatari side Al-Arabi, despite reportedly making a U-turn on his decision to head to the Middle East\u00a0earlier this summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to RMC Sport, PSG are desperate to offload the veteran midfielder, who has been at the club for over a decade.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Verratti was reportedly told earlier in the summer by boss Luis Enrique that he was surplus to requirements and he should look for pastures new.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Enrique has since lived up to his word as the 30-year-old has not appeared in a matchday squad at all so far this season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Verratti has 49 goal contributions in 276 Ligue 1 appearances, and has registered three goals and nine assists in the Champions League.<\/p>\n
