<\/p>\nThe Saudi Pro League transfer window closes today and there is still plenty of business to be done.\u00a0Many household names have made the switch to the Middle East this summer, including Karim Benzema, Neymar, Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane.<\/p>\n
However, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah won’t be joining them. The Egyptian superstar had been made a top transfer priority for reigning champions Al-Ittihad, who recently bid an astonishing \u00a3215million for him.<\/p>\n
Liverpool insist their star man is not for sale and have already pushed back several bids from the Saudi side including one worth \u00a3150m. According to Foot Mercato, Liverpool will continue to stand firm as Al-Ittihad test their resolve and will reject the \u00a3215m on the table for the 31-year-old.<\/p>\n
Salah has two years remaining on his current deal at Anfield and is happy at the club. It seems more likely that the Reds will sell up once they have found a suitable replacement in either January or next summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool were willing to swap Darwin Nunez for Joao Felix this summer but the Atletico star rejected them, along with Manchester United and Aston Villa to force a ‘dream’ loan move to Barcelona.<\/p>\n
Felix cut his wages in half in order to facilitate the switch to cash-strapped Barca. The 23-year-old has fallen out of favour at Atletico and is hoping to leave permanently in the summer.<\/p>\n
Manchester United\u00a0chief John Murtough has been given a new January priority in the transfer market as\u00a0Fulham\u00a0could attempt to prise Scott McTominay away from Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
According to the\u00a0Evening Standard, McTominay is likely to be available after falling down the pecking order under Ten Hag. And Fulham may turn to the Scotland international if Joao Palhinha turns his back on Craven Cottage to move to Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n
