<\/p>\nGabriela Cavallin wants to see ex-lover Antony removed from Manchester United's squad while he's being investigated for alleged domestic violence and abuse, similarly to how Mason Greenwood was suspended.<\/p>\n
DJ and influencer Cavallin, 22, filed a police report in her native Brazil in June, alleging Antony was physically and emotionally abusive during their two-year relationship, which ended earlier in 2023. Two more women have since come forward with claims against Antony, and the former Ajax winger was dropped from Brazil's squad for two World Cup qualifiers due to the ongoing investigations.<\/p>\n
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed it is aware of the allegations made and enquiries remain ongoing. However, Cavallin is determined to see Antony's employers take action now and take the same precautionary measures they did when Greenwood was first accused of offences in January 2022.<\/p>\n
\u201cAntony needs to be taken off the pitch," she told The Sun<\/i>. "It\u2019s disappointing he\u2019s still allowed to play while there\u2019s an investigation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am absolutely destroyed by the whole process. How can life go on as normal for him? They can\u2019t just know what they know now and not do anything. He needs to be removed.\u201d<\/p>\n
Greenwood, 21, was arrested in January 2022 and later charged with attempted rape, coercive control and assault causing actual bodily harm. <\/p>\n
All charges against the one-cap England international were dropped in February 2023, but United have nonetheless distanced themselves from the player, who has been sent on loan to Getafe for the season.<\/p>\n

Cavallin has shared texts allegedly sent by Antony, one of which tells the influencer he 'hopes she dies'. Banker Ingrid Lana and law student Rayssa de Freitas are the other two women alleging the footballer pressured them to have sex with him.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will do everything in my power. I will not give up. People need to be held accountable," added Cavallin.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter what profession or how famous someone might be. If they took action against his team-mate, I don\u2019t see why Antony should be treated differently.\u201d<\/p>\n
When it comes to the two players' cases, evidence was in the public forum prior to any police involvement. Cavallin has shared the alleged abusive texts and pictures of bloody clothes claimed to have been caused by Antony, while audio clips of Greenwood and bloody pictures were released on social media when he was accused.<\/p>\n

"It\u2019s just not okay. The club released a statement earlier this week which read: "Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony and notes that the Police are conducting enquiries.
