Jurgen Klopp is ‘not available’ for the vacant Germany head coach job, his agent has confirmed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Liverpool manager’s agent, Marc Kosicke, said that he would be honouring his contract with Liverpool, which expires in June 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Germany job became up for grabs when Hansi Flick was sacked on Sunday following a humiliating 4-1 home defeat to Japan.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, Klopp will not be in the running. ‘J\u00fcrgen has a long-term contract with Liverpool and is not available for the national coaching position,’ Kosicke told Sportschau.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Klopp has been among the favourites for the position, amongside Julian Nagelsmann, Matthias Sammer, and Oliver Glasner. The German FA will reportedly hold talks with the former two.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following Hansi Flick’s sacking, Klopp has been one of the favourites to take on the tricky job<\/p>\n
He has expressed interest in the role in the past and fans have long thought that managing his country would be the perfect way to follow his work at Liverpool.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Sky Germany over the summer, Klopp said: ‘The job of national coach is and would be a great honour – there’s no question about that. The problem that stands in the way of the whole thing is my loyalty.’<\/p>\n
He added: ‘Basically, it’s an interesting job. But I don’t know yet whether I’ll do something completely different after I leave Liverpool. I want to keep my options open.’<\/p>\n
The German national team has struggled for clarity and competence for some time, both on and off the pitch.<\/p>\n
They were eliminated from the 2018 and 2022 World Cups in the group stages – a fary cry from when they won under Joachim Low in 2014.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Players looked disinterested in one snippet as he tried to motivate them by showing them clips of geese working together to become stronger.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, under interim head coach and legendary striker Rudi Voller, they beat France 2-1\u00a0on Tuesday evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Voller has ruled himelf out of contention for the job.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
