Winx was untouchable on the track and remains priceless to her owners, but the first daughter of the world champion will go on the open market at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale next April.<\/p>\n
The Pierro filly has been raised on the lush paddocks of Coolmore Horse Stud in the Hunter Valley and her owners have made the tough decision to let someone share in the biggest racing story of the 21st century.<\/p>\n

Winx\u2019s daughter, by Pierro, at Coolmore Stud, which will be offered at the Inglis Easter Sales next year.<\/span><\/p>\n Inglis chief executive Sebastian Hutch was delighted to secure the unique filly, who will be sold at Warwick Farm\u2019s Riverside Stables.<\/p>\n \u201cTo have the daughter of Winx, one of the greatest racehorses of all time, as part of the catalogue is a truly special opportunity, not just in the context of the Australian market, but the international bloodstock market as a whole,\u201d Hutch said.<\/p>\n The buoyant bloodstock market could see the filly challenge the record $5 million paid for a Redoute\u2019s Choice\u2019s half-brother to Black Caviar as a yearling at Inglis\u2019 old home of Newmarket in 2013.<\/p>\n Hutch said the filly represents a unique opportunity and is a standout in the flesh.<\/p>\n Jockey Hugh Bowman and trainer Chris Waller celebrate Winx\u2019s Queen Elizabeth Stakes win in her final race in April 2019.<\/span>Credit: <\/span>Brook Mitchell<\/cite><\/p>\n \u201cIf you saw her in the paddock without knowing her mother, you would be asking \u2018what is that filly\u2019,\u201d Hutch said. \u201cShe is going to develop further in the next six months and is one of the most exciting yearlings we have ever had the honour to sell.<\/p>\n \u201cIt continues the tradition of more than 100 years of the best racehorses in the southern hemisphere being sold at our Easter sale.\u201d<\/p>\n Winx finished her career in 2019 with a 33rd straight victory in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes, the most consecutive wins by a racehorse for more than 50 years.
