Manchester United have confirmed the arrival of former Arsenal doctor Gary O’Driscoll, joining as a head of sports medicine for men’s, women’s and their academy sides.

O’Driscoll spent 14 years at Arsenal before deciding to leave the club in the summer and now has made the switch to Old Trafford.

The move comes after Man United have seen their medical department criticised recently as Erik ten Hag’s side suffered from an injury crisis.

The Red Devils saw 12 players unavailable to play against Bayern Munich in midweek due to injury-related issues.

Man United have now confirmed the arrival of O’Driscoll on their official club website.
