{"id":292053,"date":"2023-09-22T15:36:01","date_gmt":"2023-09-22T15:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/allmysportsnews.com\/?p=292053"},"modified":"2023-09-22T15:36:01","modified_gmt":"2023-09-22T15:36:01","slug":"trouble-at-bayern-munich-68m-star-steamed-out-of-the-allianz-arena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allmysportsnews.com\/soccer\/trouble-at-bayern-munich-68m-star-steamed-out-of-the-allianz-arena\/","title":{"rendered":"Trouble at Bayern Munich? \u00a368m star &apos;steamed out of the Allianz Arena"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Trouble at Bayern Munich? \u00a368m star &#8216;steamed out of the Allianz Arena without a word&#8217; after their win over Man United, with &#8216;frustration growing&#8217; under Thomas Tuchel<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Matthijs de Ligt has started on the bench in all four league games this season<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The \u00a368m defender was an unused substitute against Manchester United<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Click here to watch the IAKO Battle of Old Trafford YouTube Special from the Mail Sport Studios\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mail Sport&#8217;s new WhatsApp Channel: Get the breaking news and exclusives here<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bayern Munich have made another strong start to the season but it doesn&#8217;t appear that all is well at the Allianz Arena.<\/p>\n<p>Matthijs de Ligt was an ever-present in last season&#8217;s starting XI and impressed following his \u00a368m move from Juventus.<\/p>\n<p>However, he has started all four of this season&#8217;s Bundesliga games on the bench, only coming on for a brief cameo in each one.<\/p>\n<p>German outlet Bild report that the defender is becoming &#8216;increasingly annoyed&#8217; about this and that his frustration boiled over after he was an unused substitute in Wednesday&#8217;s 4-3 win over Man United.<\/p>\n<p>They claim the usually friendly Dutchman &#8216;steamed out of Allianz&#8217; after the victory without commenting on the game.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/22\/15\/75733705-12549789-image-a-23_1695394569289.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Matthijs de Ligt has seen himself fall out of the starting XI this season at Bayern Munich<\/p>\n<p>De Ligt&#8217;s pre-season was hampered by an injury and he was hauled off at half-time in the 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He has since had to play second fiddle to the defensive partnership of new signing\u00a0Kim Min-jae and Dayot Upamecano.<\/p>\n<p>Bayern have conceded just four goals in their first four league games with those two at the back but they looked far from solid against United.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De Ligt&#8217;s relationship with manager Thomas Tuchel is being put under strain and the Bayern boss admitted he couldn&#8217;t guarantee him a starting role on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/22\/15\/75733697-12549789-image-a-24_1695394581326.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Manager Thomas Tuchel admits that he cannot guarantee De Ligt a starting role\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Matthijs 100 per cent deserves to play,&#8217; Tuchel said. &#8216;He&#8217;s in shape. Of course, he personally doesn&#8217;t have enough playing time, but he is a team player.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Everyone must be ready at all times. Matthijs does that, so everything is good.
