Mauricio Pochettino has urged \u2018very anxious\u2019 Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson to take confidence from his goal in Wednesday night\u2019s Carabao Cup win over Brighton.<\/p>\n

Jackson joined the Blues this summer in a \u00a332m move from Villarreal and much pressure has been put on the 22-year-old\u2019s shoulders to deliver goals.<\/p>\n
The Senegal international forward has scored just twice across his opening eight games for the west Londoners in all competitions.<\/p>\n
Chelsea face rivals Fulham on Monday night and Jackson is unable for selection after picking up five yellow cards already this term.<\/p>\n
\u2018We talk a lot between the players and us, the coaching staff,\u2019 Pochettino said on Friday. <\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s things you cannot stop. He is very anxious to score and do well, so sometimes you forget things.<\/p>\n
\u2018He is growing fast. Now we are going to miss him on Monday but after the goal he scored against Brighton, I hope his confidence will be better.\u2019<\/p>\n
Quizzed if Cole Palmer will start the west London derby against Fulham, Pochettino added: \u2018Yes, maybe, yes. <\/p>\n
\u2018I\u2019m so happy with his performance [against Brighton]. After only a few weeks with us he was able to perform very well and fit in the team. <\/p>\n
