amid her romance with Travis Kelce<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Taylor Swift turned up at MetLife Stadium on Sunday to watch Travis Kelce\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Some football fans were less than impressed at the coverage on NBC<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>DailyMail.com provides all the latest international sports news\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Diehard football fans tuning into the Jets-Chiefs game on Sunday were left frustrated by the fanfare surrounding Taylor Swift and her new boyfriend Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n<p>While the NBC broadcast numbers were given a huge boost by the presence of Swift in the stands at MetLife Stadium, it was a constant source of frustration for those tuning in to watch Kansas City dominate against New York.<\/p>\n<p>Football fans took to social media in their droves to share their thoughts, with one writing: &#8216;Please don&#8217;t play a Taylor Swift on your TV drinking game&#8230; you&#8217;ll be hospitalized, if you aren&#8217;t already.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another added: &#8216;These Taylor Swift cutaways during Chiefs games have got to go.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>While much of the buildup surrounded the potential of the pop sensation being at the stadium, the most furious reaction came after the Chiefs&#8217; first touchdown, when cameras immediately cut to Taylor and her celebrity pals in their suite.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/02\/02\/76054095-12582673-image-a-42_1696209254018.jpg\" height=\"179\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Football fans watching the Jets-Chiefs game on NBC were frustrated at the coverage<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/02\/02\/76054185-12582673-image-a-50_1696209352671.jpg\" height=\"357\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Taylor Swift was regularly shown on the coverage as she watched her boyfriend Travis Kelce<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/02\/02\/76054103-12582673-image-a-44_1696209263856.jpg\" height=\"148\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Some fans had tuned in purely to watch the football, and not the fanfare surrounding it<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/02\/02\/76054101-12582673-image-a-45_1696209267677.jpg\" height=\"530\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Many believed the players should have been shown immediately after the first touchdown<\/p>\n<p>Given it was Isiah Pacheco scoring the points rather than Kelce, some fans were left furious, claiming they should have instead shown the players celebrating on the field.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Jets-Chiefs game on Sunday night was the second in the space of a week that Swift has dominated, after she turned up at Arrowhead last Sunday to watch her man score a touchdown in the 41-10 beatdown of the Bears.<\/p>\n<p>In the days since, there has been a huge amount of online chatter about their relationship, and that reached fever pitch on Sunday when she turned up again to watch him play.<\/p>\n<p>They are also rumored to have spent the night together on Saturday, after Kelce was spotted arriving back at his hotel in Weehawken on Sunday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not clear exactly when Travis and Taylor began seeing each other, but Travis had revealed on his New Heights podcast in July that he had hoped to introduce himself to Taylor when he attended one of her Eras Tour stops.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I wanted to give Taylor Swift [a bracelet] with my number on it,&#8217; the tight end shared, but he learned that the singer&#8217;s devotion to putting on the best performance possible made it impossible to chat with her.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I was disappointed that she doesn&#8217;t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butt-hurt I didn&#8217;t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,&#8217; he said. &#8216;That was pretty ballsy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her.
