If fans are giving you a bit they\u2019ve got to get some back.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>So after he thumped Leicester into a 2-1 lead at Ewood Park, Vardy stood right in front of the Blackburn end, made a telephone gesture to his ear then pointed to the name on the back of his shirt.<\/p>\n<p>Vardy has been Mr Dial-a-Goal throughout his career, from Stocksbridge Park Steels to Fleetwood and England.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/01\/21\/76046597-0-image-a-40_1696190729987.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Leicester moved back to the top of the Championship on Sunday with a 4-1 win over Blackburn<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/01\/21\/76046595-0-image-a-41_1696190735327.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jamie Vardy scored the Foxes&#8217; second and celebrated with a telephone gesture aimed at the home fans<\/p>\n<p>His strike came at a crucial juncture after Blackburn\u2019s Sammie Szmodics had cancelled out an early Wout Faes header and Leicester ceded a bit of their control.<\/p>\n<p>Vardy hammered home left-footed after Wilfred Ndidi crossed from the right and the Foxes were soon top of the Championship again.<\/p>\n<p>A Kelechi Iheanacho penalty \u2014 after Hayden Carter hauled down Jannik Vestergaard \u2014 and a deft finish by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made absolutely sure of an eighth win from nine league games.<\/p>\n<p>Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson described Leicester as a \u2018Premier League side\u2019 post-match and their strength for this level is obvious. They could well run away with it like Burnley did last season.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This is probably the most important win since we started,\u2019 said Leicester boss Enzo Maresca.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It is easy for everyone to say Leicester is a Premier League club but we have to show it.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/01\/21\/76046675-0-image-a-42_1696190899377.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Leicester boss Enzo Maresca\u00a0called the 36-year-old striker an &#8216;unbelievable professional&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>On Vardy\u2019s enduring quality, he added: \u2018He is an unbelievable professional in terms of his working every day, with his open mind to learn the different things we are asking of him.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018In the box, he is still the best, probably even including the Premier League.
