Erik ten Hag has defended his decision to bring back Antony into the Manchester United first team amid allegations the player domestically abused his former girlfriend, insisting he \u2018cooperated fully\u2019 and was \u2018not charged\u2019.<\/p>\n

Antony\u2019s former partner, Gabriela Cavallin,\u00a0has alleged that she has been physically attacked\u00a0by the 23-year-old on multiple occasions during their time together in Manchester and in their native Brazil.<\/p>\n
Antony, who denies the accusations made by Cavallin,\u00a0was placed on an indefinite leave of absence by United.<\/p>\n
But United have now welcomed him back while \u2018police inquiries proceed\u2019 into his actions.<\/p>\n
Antony was not in the squad who lost 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday but Ten Hag has now confirmed that the winger is available for selection for Tuesday\u2019s Champions League clash against Galatasaray.<\/p>\n

Ten Hag revealed that update at a press conference on Monday \u2013 with one reporter asking Ten Hag what sort of message brining Antony back would send to victims of domestic violence.<\/p>\n
\u2018He cooperated fully,\u2019 Ten Hag said about Antony. \u2018He was not charged.\u2019<\/p>\n
Earlier in the press conference, Ten Hag said: \u2018Antony will be in consideration [to face Galatasaray]. Yesterday was his first time back in team training.<\/p>\n
\u2018We have a final training session [before Tuesday\u2019s match] and we will make a decision. But he will be in consideration, yeah.\u2019<\/p>\n
