Last season they knew nothing but winning. They finished top of the Championship with 101 points. Now they can hardly buy a win.<\/p>\n<p>After losing 3-0 at Brentford, the stark reality sets in. Seven defeats in their opening nine matches for the first time in a top-flight season since 1888-89 and 23 goals shipped \u2014 the second-highest in the league this term.<\/p>\n<p>Things look bleak. Manager Vincent Kompany, however, believes the lowest moments can produce the biggest inspiration.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018My learning from being with teams at this level is you\u2019re never far away from getting that real togetherness that gets you results,\u2019 he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018You have top teams who can lead the individuals to sort things out. They define you as a human being. You\u2019re at your highest high and you get success \u2014 can you still be together?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;What I like about this group is we\u2019ve always reacted to these moments and we have to do it again.
