Manchester United fans are up in arms about matchday programmes dedicated to Sir Bobby Charlton being sold on eBay for five times their original price.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sellers on eBay have been spotted flogging the memorabilia for as much as \u00a321 when the programmes were initially sold for \u00a34.\u00a0<\/p>\n
There were huge queues for programmes last night because of the Charlton tribute and all vendors had sold out after the full-time whistle.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sources say United are reminding fans that official programmes can still be bought online for the initial \u00a34 price.<\/p>\n
Reach Sport, the publishers, have confirmed that they are being reprinted due to demand for sale online.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Fans on X, formerly Twitter, have vented frustration at the opportunistic practice following Charlton’s passing on Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘So called \u201cfans\u201d buying up all the Sir Bobby Charlton tribute programmes from last night to resell on eBay for a tenner. I despair at how low some people will sink,’ one said<\/p>\n
