It was never advertised.\u00a0McLennan has no knowledge of the game and no previous involvement in the game.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>He added that Eddie Jones&#8217;s exit presents an opportunity for rugby bosses to completely start again and called for knowledgeable figures to take over.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;McLennan has to go,&#8217; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Then, the job of coaching Australia should be advertised and a panel with coaching knowledge should be appointed to review the applicants.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;What the rugby family don&#8217;t know is that the Board of Rugby Australia is almost devoid of rugby knowledge.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/30\/10\/77169085-12687937-image-a-4_1698661011831.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Alan Jones insists that the blame for the disaster lies solely at Hamish McLennan&#8217;s door<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;McLennan is doing as he likes. We have now seen what that has produced. We don&#8217;t have a &#8216;player&#8217; problem, we have a massive administrative mess.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Jones is out the door. He should be followed by McLennan and the bulk of the Board.\u00a0They own this problem. They signed off on the problem.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Jones is merely the symptom.
