It missed the Australian\u2019s head by inches and instead landed on his rear wing.<\/p>\n<p>Nobody was hurt.<\/p>\n<p>It appeared that Albon, who started 13th, was nudged by the Haas of Nico Hulkenberg. Albon then tagged Magnussen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/05\/17\/77429077-12713025-image-a-21_1699207139368.jpg\" height=\"357\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Daniel Ricciardo escaped injury after his car was struck by a flying tyre at Brazilian Grand Prix<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/05\/17\/77429079-12713025-image-a-22_1699207145048.jpg\" height=\"355\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Left-rear tyre of Abon\u2019s car came detached in and flew in direction of Ricciardo\u2019s AlphaTauri<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/05\/17\/77428745-0-image-a-12_1699206542844.jpg\" height=\"450\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The tyre missed the Australian\u2019s head by inches and instead landed on his rear wing on Sunday<\/p>\n<p>Hulkenberg\u2019s car was largely unharmed though the tyre bounced narrowly to the left of him before the RIcciardo scare.<\/p>\n<p>Ricciardo turned frantically left in reaction to the stray rubber bouncing its way towards him. \u2019I tried to miss it but the tyre was in the air and it clipped my rear wing,\u2019 he said over the radio.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The carcass weighs 11.5kg, 1.5 times as much as a bowling ball.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He returned to the pits for repairs during the long suspension in racing.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrari\u2019s Charles Leclerc crashed out on the formation lap at Turn 8.
