Steve Cooper paid a touching tribute to young Nottingham Forest fan Caiden Storry who was left distraught when he did not complete a rendition of The Last Post at the City Ground on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Caiden, who is 16, was playing the tune on trumpet as part of Forest\u2019s Remembrance Day ceremony but was unable to finish it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He was consoled by players from Forest and Aston Villa shortly before kick-off and clearly upset when Cooper gave him a hug on the touchline and some words of encouragement.<\/p>\n
Now Forest plan to invite Caiden to their training ground to meet the players.<\/p>\n
Cooper said: \u2018I\u2019ve got a 15-year-old boy and I love it when he shows confidence to do things because it isn\u2019t always easy in this era we live in.<\/p>\n

\u2018For a 16-year-old boy who\u2019s a fan to stand in the middle and do that and do it brilliantly as well, he should be really proud and we are proud. He said to me, \u201cI am sorry about that\u201d and I said, \u201cWhat for? Everyone is really proud of you\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u2018To see how both sets of players responded, because they have to perform and they know what it\u2019s like, was a really important moment. I thought everyone came together in what is always a poignant moment anyway.<\/p>\n
\u2018I managed to have a word with him and we will try to reach out to him and bring him to the training ground. I want him to meet the players so he knows how good he was.\u2019<\/p>\n
