A PSG fan was left in a pool of their own blood following an alleged ambush by AC Milan hooligans before their Champions League encounter. <\/p>\n
In graphic images seen by Daily Star Sport<\/i><\/b>, a fan was left in a pool of his own blood having allegedly been stabbed the day before the European fixture. Sky Italy report that around fifty AC Milan fans attached PSG supporters with some wear masks and using smoke bombs.<\/p>\n
They report a witness as seeing the Italian supporters covering their faces, with three French people taken to hospital including the stabbed fan, whose life was not thought to be in danger. Footage of the clashes taken by witnesses has been posted to social media with Corriere della Sera reporting it as an ambush.<\/p>\n

French fans had met in the Ripa di Porta Ticinese before a firecracker and smoke bombs led to violence. Local police attended the scene with a 34-year-old man treated for a stab wound to the leg.<\/p>\n
The Milan Polyclinic hospital said: "The patient underwent various investigations during the night. He has a stab wound to the lower limb, which will be managed by surgeons, but a haemorrhage has been ruled out. He is not considered to be in danger of his life."<\/p>\n

A Milan statement also read: "AC Milan condemns every form of violence: football for us is passion, not hate," read the post, that was uploaded in three different languages. It continued: "Sport is supposed to unite, not divide."<\/p>\n
Two officers are also reported to have been injured, the first after being hit in the leg with a blunt object and the second receiving a wound to his lip. A fan responsible for one of those wounds was then arrested for injuring a public official and resisting arrest.<\/p>\n

In the other group match on Tuesday evening Newcastle travel to Germany having lost to the Bundesliga outfit at home last time out. They will also have to manage without injured defenders Dan Burn and Matt Targett who could miss a number of months.<\/p>\n
