Thomas Partey has reportedly told Arsenal that he wants to leave the club in January amid interest from Italian giants Juventus.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Partey, 30, was closely linked with a move away from north London during the summer window and was sought after by Saudi Pro League side\u00a0Al Ahli.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Despite their desire to sign the former Atletico Madrid star, Partey remained at Arsenal for the start of the season but has since struggled for consistent game time.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The midfielder has dealt with multiple injuries since the season opener and his place within the Arsenal squad could soon be available amid suggestions he will leave.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to Tutto Mercato, Partey has already informed the Gunners over his desire to leave the club during the January transfer window.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The outlet claim that Italian giants Juventus are the front-runners to sign Partey, given their need for a defensive midfielder.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, it’s also reported that Partey will hold out for more options – preferably in the Premier League or LaLiga – before making a decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n
During the summer, Partey’s future in north London dominated transfer discourse up until Mikel Arteta insisted the midfielder is a ‘super important’ asset in the team.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
When asked whether he expected Partey to stay, Arteta said: \u2018Yes. Every time I spoke to him, his will is stay to with us. There is nothing there (a potential move) at all.<\/p>\n
