Really good decision. Really positive for Mikel to speak positively about that. Yeah, good decision&#8217;.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the defeat at Newcastle,\u00a0VAR debated Gordon&#8217;s goal for four minutes while checking to see if the ball had initially gone out of play, an offside from Gordon and a foul on Gabriel.<\/p>\n<p>After describing the decision to let the goal stand as &#8217;embarrassing&#8217; and a &#8216;disgrace, Arteta continued:\u00a0&#8216;It&#8217;s not acceptable, there&#8217;s too much at stake. I don&#8217;t want to be in the hands of these people. I don&#8217;t know how to feel.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;m wasting my time, we are wasting our time. It&#8217;s difficult enough to compete against Newcastle \u2013 they are a really good team, but we have to talk about how the hell this goal stood. It&#8217;s an absolute disgrace it was allowed. For more than one reason it should not be a goal.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I have been in this country more than 20 years and [the officiating] is nowhere near the level of the best league in the world. I feel sick to be part of this. I feel sick.
