The Glazer family will not be present at Sir Bobby Charlton’s funeral, according to reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sir Bobby – who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players to ever grace the game – passed away at the age of 86 following a battle with dementia last month.<\/p>\n
He made 758 appearances for United while also earning 106 caps for his beloved country and has a stand named after him at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
United staff and supporters have been mourning the club legend since his passing and the world will bid farewell to him at a service in Manchester on Monday.<\/p>\n
And the Glazer family are set to further damage their relationship with fans by not attending, according to The Daily Star.<\/p>\n

It is understood that the Glazers made the decision to avoid abuse from supporters overshadowing the ceremony.<\/p>\n
They want Chalrton to be the focus of the headlines rather than them but it will no doubt be a move that draws criticism itself.<\/p>\n
The Glazers knew Charlton well with the icon having been director of the club and a regular presence at Old Trafford until his diagnosis three years ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n
