Grealish asked about his ambitions to be a journalist after Horn revealed he was in the final year of his studies.

The winger joking he would then agreeing to an interview ‘as long you don’t say bad stuff about me’.

Social media users praised Grealish for taking the time for supporters, with the England and Man City star hailed as a ‘class act’.

‘Love Jack Grealish. Whilst loads of players have media training and interact like robots, he is one of the lads who is authentic,’ one fan wrote.

‘I swear no one takes time out for fans as much as Grealish,’ added another.

‘At this point this is just normal for him (as a compliment) he always talks with people, such a humble and true guy,’ wrote a third.

Grealish earned praise for his actions despite not featuring in the match at Wembley on Friday

The Man City star was praised in August for speaking to a visually impaired fan after the UEFA Super Cup

Grealish had also been praised earlier this year for delaying the trophy presentation at the UEFA Super Cup to speak with a visually impaired fan.

He was seen telling Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin to wait before turning his attention back to the girl.

Grealish had famously enjoyed three nights in a row of partying after CIty completed the treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in June, but has shown before that he is a footballer with a caring side.

He has spoken in the past about the inspiration he takes from his younger sister Hollie, who has cerebral palsy. The condition has significantly impacted her vision.

‘With my little sister, she’s been to the games but she’s never been able to see me or anything because she’s visually impaired,’ Grealish told Mail Sport last year.

‘Obviously it’s nice to go and spend time with them (family) after the games because she gets it but she obviously can’t watch the game.’

After scoring against Iran at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Grealish performed a pre-arranged celebration that had been thought up by Finlay, a 12-year-old City fan who also has cerebral palsy.

Grealish agreed to perform a celebration for Finlay and did so after netting against Iran

‘The celebration was natural, I don’t do that for any clout,’ said Grealish.

‘I do that because that’s what I feel I’m good at sometimes. I can relate to it.

‘It’s nice for him because he’ll go back to school and he’ll probably be quite popular.

‘That’s just the way I’ve been brought up. I’ve got a good heart, or I think I have.’

In July, Grealish received plaudits for appearing to donate £5,000 to a 20-year-old Birmingham fan with leukemia, who had been given only weeks to live.
