Everton are appealing the decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I haven\u2019t spoken to Jordan about it but he has coped really well with a couple of really difficult seasons at Everton where they\u2019ve been in the lower reaches of the league,\u2019 said Southgate. \u2018If the ultimate decision is like it was today \u2014 and I assume there will be some sort of appeal \u2014 then it\u2019s a scenario he\u2019s been through.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Jordan has been a really important player for us. I think he enjoys his football with us,\u2019 said Southgate. \u2018He\u2019s been as chatty as always.
