{"id":298300,"date":"2023-11-21T17:24:33","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T17:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/allmysportsnews.com\/?p=298300"},"modified":"2023-11-21T17:24:33","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T17:24:33","slug":"erling-haaland-pays-train-ticket-fares-for-former-norwegian-club-fans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allmysportsnews.com\/soccer\/erling-haaland-pays-train-ticket-fares-for-former-norwegian-club-fans\/","title":{"rendered":"Erling Haaland pays train ticket fares for former Norwegian club fans"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Man City striker Erling Haaland pays \u00a313,000 in train ticket fares for 200 fans of his former Norwegian club Bryne &#8211; as they reach the play-offs for the first time since 2006<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><b>The Norwegian\u00a0star began his career for the club in 2005 and stayed until 2017<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Bryne will play\u00a0Start in\u00a0Kristiansand for their play-off match to reach top division<\/b><\/li>\n<li><strong>It\u2019s the world against Everton \u2013 it can galvanise the players to stay up &#8211; IAKO\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Erling Haaland has paid \u00a313,000 for the train tickets of 200 fans who support his former Norwegian club Bryne as they enter the playoffs for the first time since 2006 next Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Man City striker played as a youth for his boyhood club Bryne in 2005 before making his professional debut for the side in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>He then moved to Molde in 2017 before signing for Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund and Man City.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now, the\u00a0Norwegian international has forked out for Bryne fans to travel to in Kristiansand for their side&#8217;s playoff game against Start, TV 2 reports.<\/p>\n<p>The team\u00a0surprised everyone &#8211; including Haaland &#8211; when they secured the last qualifying place in the OBOS league.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/21\/16\/78069759-0-image-a-68_1700585161566.jpg\" height=\"391\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Erling Haaland has decided to pay for the train fares for fans of his old club to see them play<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/21\/16\/78069757-0-image-a-69_1700585163650.jpg\" height=\"800\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Norwegian superstar began his youth career at Bryne and stayed with the club until 2017<\/p>\n<p>The superstar striker then decided to help fans with the cost of a ticket, which is around \u00a352 (NOK 698).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>By helping 200 fans, the player is believed to be paying roughly \u00a313,100 (NOK 175,000).<\/p>\n<p>He also said he will treat fans to bus tickets if they do not want to take a train.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bj\u00f8rn Hagerud R\u00f8ken, who is marketing manager at Bryne FK, told TV 2: &#8216;From the club&#8217;s side, it is a secret question regarding who treats the fans.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We can&#8217;t say much other than that it&#8217;s fantastic that we get the opportunity to send as many supporters as possible to Kristiansand.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Times are tough for people financially, and that makes it harder for people to prioritize traveling to a game like this here.
