Arsenal are pleased with how Kai Havertz is settling into their squad, despite the immense criticism that has been aimed at the playmaker since his arrival. The Germany international scored the all-important goal in the Gunners\u2019 1-0 win over Brentford last weekend, and he will be hoping to build on that momentum in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

Eyebrows were raised when Arsenal signed Havertz from Chelsea over the summer in a deal worth \u00a365million, having witnessed his struggles at Stamford Bridge over the past few seasons that saw him fall down the pecking order under several different managers.<\/p>\n

Havertz is described as \u2018football obsessed\u2019 and remains \u2018ultra committed\u2019 to working with Arsenal\u2019s coaching staff to ensure that his move to the Emirates Stadium pays off and he is able to truly reach his potential in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The ex-Bayer Leverkusen\u2019s work ethic behind the scenes has also drawn high praise from those at the club, with his conduct \u2018beyond reproach\u2019. Chelsea sources described Havertz in a similar vein whilst he was at Stamford Bridge, and it was his drive and determination that was frequently credited for his knack for scoring important goals, including in the Blues\u2019 Champions League final win over Manchester City.<\/p>\n
