Jonny Otto’s Wolves future has been plunged into jeopardy after he was banned from the club’s training ground after an ‘incident’ in training last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Spanish full-back will not be involved in their upcoming games, according to manager Gary O’Neil.<\/p>\n
He was left out of the squad that lost 2-1 to\u00a0Arsenal despite being a regular on the bench for Gary O’Neil’s side, though he has only featured three times.\u00a0<\/p>\n
O’Neil said: ‘Jonny won’t be in the squad.\u00a0There was a training ground incident last week that’s being dealt with by the club.<\/p>\n
‘If \u2013 or when \u2013 he’s back available, we’ll let everybody know. At this moment in time he won’t be available for the coming games.<\/p>\n

Gary O’Neil explained that while he is involved in addressing the matter, people above him are dealing with the situation<\/p>\n

‘I’d rather not go into thing in public. Things happen at training grounds and at football clubs a lot.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘He is not with us at the moment. He\u2019s not training with us. I\u2019m involved with everything but people above me are also dealing with the situation.<\/p>\n
‘We will update you when he\u2019s back around. I can\u2019t update you any more than that at the moment.’<\/p>\n
Otto joined Wolves when they were promoted to the Premier League and played regularly in their two seventh-placed finishes under Nuno Espirito Santo.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, his influence has faded since then and he has had to settle for being a more bit-part player.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He was expected to leave the club in the summer but could not find a move.\u00a0<\/p>\n
His only Premier League outing came against Manchester City, when he was introduced as a late substitute, but he has featured in both of their Carabao Cup ties.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Otto’s contract expires in the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n
