<\/p>\nGary Neville has bemoaned another \u2018Groundhog Day\u2019 at Manchester United amid fresh reports of unrest in Erik ten Hag\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n
Following Saturday\u2019s abject defeat at Newcastle, where several players were accused of not pulling their weight, it has been claimed that the Red Devils camp is split over Ten Hag. According to Sky Sports\u2019 Kaveh Solhekol, the Dutch coach has lost the support of around half of the dressing room.<\/p>\n
The reporter also claims that players are unhappy with the amount of running they are doing in training as well as being displeased with Ten Hag\u2019s treatment of Jadon Sancho, who has been frozen out of the first team since September. Solhekol added that Ten Hag had no intention of changing his methods to appease certain members of his squad.<\/p>\n

Old Trafford hero and Sky Sports pundit Neville has issued numerous scathing assessments of United\u2019s troubles in recent seasons. While his ire is usually directed at the club\u2019s owners, the Glazers, he hasn\u2019t been afraid to hit out at the club\u2019s underperforming players. \u201cHere we go. Groundhog Day,\u201d posted Neville on X (formerly Twitter) while sharing the clip of Solhekol's revelation.<\/p>\n

In response to the post, many United fans sided with Ten Hag rather than the players. One said: \u201cOnly our players could complain that they are training too hard and running too much in training.\u201d Another added: \u201cI speak for every United fan when I say we want Ten Hag to stay + all the players revolting must be sold. Give the youths playing time instead.\u201d <\/p>\n
A third pleaded: \u201cGary. \u201cWhen are these players going to learn. What has happened to our club and the game. I love this club with all my heart and will continue going to support them but I honestly do not like some of these players.\u201d<\/p>\n
Neville's response came after he admitted he no longer wants to work on matches for his former side. The 48-year-old said: "I feel like we're in a cycle of the noise against the manager is starting to occur. There is the same noises that say 'Well surely we can't get rid of another manager, we've got to get rid of the players because they are the ones that got rid of the other managers'."<\/p>\n
The former England international admitted he was "bored" of the cycle and added: "I've become tired of my own club. I don't want to do their games anymore, I don't want to watch their games anymore," he added. "That is the saddest indictment that you can have of your football club, when you become bored of watching them, when you become tired of watching them."<\/p>\n
