    England fans will be clocking off work early during Euro 2024 after one group game was scheduled for a 5pm kick-off.<\/p>\n

    Supporters will be rushing to the pubs at the standard work closing time to catch the match against Denmark, which is likely to be the toughest group game. <\/p>\n

    England's opening match of Euro 2024 against Serbia will be shown on the BBC. The Denmark game will also be a BBC tie, before switching to ITV for the final group clash with Slovenia. <\/p>\n

    Scotland take on Germany in the opening game of Euro 2024 and it will feature on ITV for viewers in the UK. <\/p>\n

    Niall Sloane, ITV director of sport, said: "Following the draw, we can now begin to look forward to next summer's Euros in Germany and we're delighted to be able to bring viewers what should be a flying start to the tournament with the opening match between Scotland and the hosts."<\/p>\n

    "We have first picks of the round of 16 and the semi-finals and with England among the favourites, we hope to be able to bring viewers their biggest moments from what could be an historic tournament for them. We'll be announcing our comprehensive coverage plans in full in the lead-up to next June with the aim of bringing viewers the very best of Euro 2024."<\/p>\n

    Philip Bernie, BBC head of TV sport says: "With the UEFA European Championships, the Paris Olympics and Wimbledon all on the BBC next year, our summer of sport promises to be very memorable. In addition to live games featuring all the tournament favourites, we are very pleased to have two games each for England and Scotland in the group stages, and we hope to add two more for Wales if they qualify too."<\/p>\n
