It&#8217;s All Kicking Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Manchester United fans have been left staggered at the lack of quality players showed during an open training session on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As Erik ten Hag&#8217;s side prepared to take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League tonight, they took part, as they usually do, in a close-control rondo drill.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Normally this is away from prying eyes but ahead of UEFA matches media members are allowed to observe part of the session.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Man United reporter Andy Mitten shared a 26-second clip of Ten Hag&#8217;s squad taking part in a rondo drill, and it has gone on to be viewed more than 13 million times.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In it United&#8217;s players are seen with loose touches and passing the ball out of play after two or three passes, leaving fans floored at the lack of quality.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/07\/78856403-12853627-image-a-2_1702365839460.jpg\" height=\"357\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A video of a Man United training ground rondo has gone viral for the amount of missed passes<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/07\/78856405-12853627-image-a-3_1702365886625.jpg\" height=\"135\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/07\/78856407-12853627-image-a-4_1702365890435.jpg\" height=\"117\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/07\/78856413-12853627-image-a-5_1702365897236.jpg\" height=\"107\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Fans were left thoroughly unimpressed and felt it made their abject performance &#8216;make sense&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Our performances make sense now,&#8217; one fan wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Now I know why they can&#8217;t string passes together,&#8217; another added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A third said: &#8216;People are blaming Ten Hag for the results when he has players earning millions but can&#8217;t string 3 passes together.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Other frustrated supporters claimed that their Sunday League teams have performed better in these sorts of drills than United appeared to.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;There&#8217;s probably \u00a35m per week salaries in that clip &#8211; and they&#8217;re worse than my old Sunday league team,&#8217; one wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Another fan claimed that &#8217;13-year-olds can do a better rondo than this and I&#8217;m not even overreacting.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/07\/78856409-12853627-image-a-6_1702365908641.jpg\" height=\"111\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/08\/78857647-12853627-image-a-1_1702368679831.jpg\" height=\"109\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/08\/78857653-12853627-image-a-2_1702368691579.jpg\" height=\"129\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/07\/78856411-12853627-image-a-7_1702365910839.jpg\" height=\"186\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Some fans even felt a group of children, or a Sunday League team, can do the rondo better<\/p>\n<p>United head into Matchday 6 in the Champions League knowing they must beat Bayern Munich to have any chance at all in progressing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bayern, who have responded emphatically with 4-0 wins following defeats this season, are still smarting from being embarrassed at the weekend in a 5-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/12\/07\/78799253-12853627-image-a-1_1702365809350.jpg\" height=\"337\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>But United must win and hope FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray cancel each other out for a draw in Denmark, in order for them to progress.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ten Hag\u00a0rallied his Manchester United players for Tuesday&#8217;s do-or-die Champions League clash with Bayern Munich, declaring: \u2018We can beat anyone.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Bayern are unbeaten in their last 39 group matches stretching back more than six years, but Ten Hag is convinced United can still go through.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018If we are in the right spirit, then we are able to do it and beat any opponent,\u2019 said the United manager.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I never think of a negative scenario, we think positive. We know what to do. We have to win to stay in Europe, it\u2019s about that.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We will prepare the team with that feeling, with the belief that we are able to do it.
