Security fears ahead of next summer’s Euros have been raised after an investigation into a prank that was staged at the draw for the group stage earlier this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n
England were handed a relatively straightforward Group in the draw, which took place in Hamburg’s iconic Elbphilharmonie concert hall, and will face Serbia, Slovenia and Denmark next year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
During the ceremony, however, sex noises could be heard over the sound system, with Brian Laudrup in particular hiding a smirk as he continued to draw names from the pots.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Given the concerns over how such a prank might be able to take place, an investigation was duly launched into the fiasco.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It then emerged that two individuals managed to enter the venue, undisguised, after two failed attempts, according to reports.<\/p>\n

Caught on camera, the duo are thought to have been able to enter the main draw hall unchallenged, before taping a mobile phone to a microphone beneath a stand, occupied by Laudrup.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Later, once the draw officially got underway, they reportedly re-entered the venue via a caterers’ access point, they are thought to have begun calling the phone.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The sex noises that could be heard coming from beneath Laudrup’s microphone had been set as the ring-tone for the device.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to reports, a private security firm in Germany bore responsibility for checking access to the Elbphilharmonie.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hamburg prosecutors have also reportedly launched a criminal investigation into the prank, attempting to locate the two pranksters.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The two who were caught on the camera are yet to be identified, and it is considered that a third might have been involved as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The prank was reminiscent of a similar one that took place earlier this year during the BBC’s coverage of Liverpool’s replay at Wolves.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The English comedian responsible for the prank earlier this year recorded a social media video claiming responsibility for the issue in Hamburg, although that has not yet been ratified.<\/p>\n

Reports suggested that UEFA far from pleased after the breach less than a year out from the tournament<\/p>\n

The draw was almost complete when the noises began to play causing intense embarrassment across the room\u00a0<\/p>\n
