Xavi\u2019s side were forced to act frugally last summer as a result of previous overspending and may need to let one of their top stars leave the club in the upcoming transfer market.<\/p>\n<p>Spanish outlet Relevo claim that Barcelona are working tirelessly to find additional income to balance their books and have not ruled out a big sale in January. They are reportedly willing to listen to offers for all of their players, which may prompt top Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea to take advantage. Despite dazzling against English clubs under Marcelo Bielsa, the Brazilian has started less than half of Barcelona\u2019s league games this season.<\/p>\n<p>Raphinha has plenty of admirers in England and recently was linked with a move to United in a swap deal for Jadon Sancho. Chelsea have been playing Levi Colwill in that position since Ben Chilwell suffered a long-term injury, but Balde would be a big upgrade over the former Brighton loanee who could return to centre-back.<\/p>\n<p>Fabrizio Romano claims that Manchester City enquired about the possibility of signing Balde early in the summer transfer window and were rebuffed, but with Barcelona in need of funds they could be willing to entertain an offer from Pep Guardiola\u2019s side or their rivals.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ferran Torres<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Similarly to Raphinha, Ferran Torres is well known to Premier League sides after his spell at Manchester City and his versatility especially would appeal to English suitors. The Spain international can play all across the frontline and Spanish outlet AS claim that he is considering his options after being disappointed with a lack of playing time under Xavi.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal are searching for more firepower in January and if they are unable to land top target Ivan Toney, with Brentford set to pay hardball over the transfer fee, they could turn their attention to Torres in order to pip the likes of City and Liverpool to the title this season.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/67\/590x\/secondary\/Barcelona-Ferran-Torres-5123506.jpg?r=1703027123482\"><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ronald Araujo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Manchester United are hoping to sign a top centre-back in the next two windows and Ronald Araujo\u2019s name has been mentioned with a move to Old Trafford, even though Rio Ferdinand has urged him against joining Erik ten Hag\u2019s side. He has attracted interest from the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham previously, but United\u2019s need for a defender may tempt them into a move for the Dane.<\/p>\n<p>Any fee that Barcelona receives for Christensen would count as direct profit, having joined on a free transfer from Chelsea last year.
