There is just five days left until Christmas but that doesn’t mean a pause in football’s rumour mill ahead of the January transfer window.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As injuries wrack up and a packed fixture list begins to take its toll, a number of Premier League sides are assessing whether their ranks have the necessary depth to challenge in the second-half of the season.<\/p>\n
It was reported yesterday that Manchester United won’t see any significant arrivals in the January transfer window as they focus on finding clubs for their current players\u00a0including Jadon Sancho.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But other clubs such as Newcastle – who have been decimated by injuries – might opt to fill holes in their squad come January.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
