The January transfer window is now only just around the corner with several teams up and down the Premier League table set to make some changes. The top of the table is still very tight between Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham with just two points separating them all.
But the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle, Brighton, Aston Villa and Chelsea will alll be hoping to claw their way back to compete at the top and January may be seen as a good opportunity to help their cause. Erik ten Hag is expected to make some new signings with Sir Jim Ratcliffe set to complete his 25 per cent purchase of United in the near future.
Another striker is reportedly top of United’s wishlist with the club scoring just 13 goals in 12 league games. Ivan Toney is being touted as a potential signing, but he’s also being linked with a number of other clubs with the Brentford striker seemingly keen on a new challenge once his suspension is up.
