Meet Dillon Danis: ‘Despicable’ trolling of Logan Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal, rubbing shoulders with the biggest combat stars in the world and brawling with Khabib

If you’ve logged in to X (formerly known as Twitter) within the last two months, you’ll likely have seen Dillon Danis’ account crop up on the timeline.
The 30-year-old combat star has gone viral in recent times following his online feud with internet personality Logan Paul, ahead of their scheduled boxing match in October.
However, the online jibes have been rather one sided in Danis’ favour – who has regularly targeted Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal in the build-up to their bout.
The jiu-jitsu star has posted a number of photos and videos of Agdal on Twitter, including an X-rated video where Agdal discussed her sexual cravings.
But who is Dillon Danis? Why is he relevant in the combat sports world? And what has he said about Logan Paul’s fiancee? Mail Sport answer all of that below.

DANIS ‘COULDN’T DO A PUSH-UP’
It’s almost improbable that the likes of Conor McGregor and other UFC legends would train with someone who once ‘couldn’t do a push-up’, but that just so happens to be the case with Danis.
The New Jersey native began his combat sport career at the age of 15, when he began training in jiu-jitsu and, shortly afterwards, wrestling.
Training quickly became his entire life and, in an interview with the Daily Record, he explained how in school ‘all I’d think about is training’.
After years of training, Danis moved to New York in order to actively pursue a career in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 19.
He competed in numerous high-level tournaments before eventually receiving his black belt at the age of 21 – which is a seriously impressive accomplishment.
MEETING MCGREGOR
After gaining a solid reputation within the jiu-jitsu and wrestling communities, he slowly transitioned to the mixed martial arts scene in 2016.
His first port of call, in the MMA scene, would be to help train UFC legend Conor McGregor for his highly-anticipated rematch with Nate Diaz in August of that year.
McGregor, who recently received his own Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt this week, was submitted by his American counterpart in their first meeting before choosing to draft in Danis.

Through his close relationship McGregor, Danis has linked up with the likes of boxer Floyd Mayweather (L) and football star Cristiano Ronaldo (R)
In the end, his decision to call upon the New Jersey star paid dividends, as McGregor triumphed over Diaz and rarely found himself in a vulnerable position on the ground.
After their success together for that bout, Danis became a part of McGregor’s coaching team and was regularly seen with the Irishman as they travelled, trained and developed their skills.
His close friendship with McGregor saw Danis rub shoulders with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Drake and Floyd Mayweather but his moment in the spotlight would truly arrive in 2018, as McGregor prepared to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov.
KHABIB CHAOS
Khabib vs McGregor was, without a doubt, the biggest event in the UFC within the past decade and both the fight and the events that unfolded lived up to the hype.
In the build-up, McGregor caused chaos after flying out to America and launching an attack on Nurmagomedov while the Russian was sat on a bus.
Coupled with the fiery press conferences, instigated by controversial comments by McGregor, and the bad blood between the two was more than evident.
And, when Khabib did eventually sink a neck crank into McGregor to claim victory on the night, the Russian quickly set his sights for the Irishman’s coaching team.

‘The Eagle’ truly spread his wings as he launched himself over the top of the octagon cage and jumped into the heart of McGregor’s corner – where Danis was waiting.
Footage, which emerged afterwards, showed both Nurmagomedov and Danis throwing punches at one-another before an all-out brawl broke out.
For his actions in the brawl, Danis was subsequently fined $7,500 and suspended for 7 months following the incident.
YOUTUBE BOXING
Following the defeat to Khabib, McGregor’s UFC career began to stagnate and Danis was making fewer appearances in the media.
However, all of that changed in November last year when Danis was announced as a surprise boxing opponent for British YouTuber KSI – who has led the crossover boxing scene.
Danis appeared at a press conference for that event and sparked chaos after throwing coffee in the face of his influencer counterpart.
KSI vs Danis was scheduled as the main event for MF & DAZN’s January event but, 10 days prior to the bout, it was confirmed that Danis was going to be replaced.
Sources later claimed that Danis was ‘underprepared, he [Danis] has no coach, he might be struggling with weight.’

FIGHTING PAUL AND ATTACK ON AGDAL
And so, after failing to orchestrate a fight with KSI, Danis has turned to the Brit’s business partner Logan Paul.
Paul and Danis are scheduled to face off on the undercard of KSI’s bout with Tommy Fury in October and the build-up has been intriguing to say the least.
The jiu-jitsu star has posted a number of photos and videos of Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal on Twitter including an X-rated video where Agdal discussed her sexual cravings.
In response, Agdal sued Danis as well as applying for a restraining order, saying her fiancee’s opponent posted ‘despicable’ things about her more than 250 times since the bout was announced and that she has suffered humiliation, emotional distress and reputational harm.
Agdal, a former Victoria’s Secret model, is seeking unspecified damages but no less than £120,000 ($150,000) per violation of the federal law prohibiting the sharing of intimate images.
She alleged that an August 11 post shared by Danis in particular violated federal and state law.
The post, she claims, featured a sexually explicit image of her from a ‘romantic encounter’ she had with someone more than 10 years ago.
‘Danis posted the photograph — entirely uncensored — from his X (Twitter) account, without Plaintiff’s consent,’ Agdal wrote in the suit. ‘Later that day, Danis reposted the explicit photograph in order to maximize the number of views it would receive.’

The 31-year-old claimed that Danis agreed to remove the post only after the organizers of his fight with Paul, Misfits Boxing, threatened to cancel the showdown unless he deleted it.
Danis responded to the suit via X, informing his followers that he could not offer much comment at this time.
‘Nina Adgel has filed a massive lawsuit against me’ Danis wrote. ‘She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time, so the fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail. This is actually wild but I won’t stop f*** the system come get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking.
‘I will provide more details when I can, but because it’s a federal case, I can’t at this time. P.S. f*** that h*e… Nina Agdal will be called Karen Agdal till further notice.’
