Notorious prankster Daniel Jarvis invaded South Africa’s Rugby World Cup on-pitch celebrations in his latest episode of mischief – and says he’s got more lined up.

‘Jarvo 69’ was pictured celebrating with the Springboks after their 12-11 victory over New Zealand.

He was seen alongside with Faf de Clerk, Cheslin Kolbe, Bongi Mbonambi, and Franco Mostert.

The troublemaker has an art for sneaking into exclusive places and apparently enjoyed the match from a VIP box after following Novak Djokovic inside, according to The Sun.

He reportedly had bottles of champagne with the players before he was escorted away and told The Sun: ‘A few of them were coming up to me saying ‘Jarvo’ and shaking my hand.

He was eventually escorted away – but not before getting a fist bump from Damian Willemse

‘I was thinking, mate, you’ve just won the World Cup and you’re more interested in seeing me!’

Jarvis said he wants to target another event after this and interrupting the Cricket World Cup when he entered the field of play moments before Australia’s match against India and spoke with superstar Virat Kohli.

His history of gatecrashing high-profile sporting events is piling up and he made headlines earlier this year when he interrupted an FA Cup broadcast with indecent sounds.

The BBC carried out an investigation after Jarvis managed to get into Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Molineux stadium and tape a mobile to furniture on set.

Jarvis then called the phone from his home, with its ringtone – noises from a pornographic clip – sounding as Gary Lineker introduced the live FA Cup match between Wolves and Liverpool.

Pundits were confused and listeners were irate, especially those with children who were watching the coverage on BBC 1.

He has 21 convictions for multiple stunts and was handed a two-year ban from all UK sports stadiums last September after he ran onto the pitch during an England test match and crashed into Jonny Bairstow.

In 2022, he hugged several players after Real Madrid won the Champions League final against Liverpool after brazenly leaping over the barriers onto the Stade de France pitch.

Jarvis hugged Vinicius Jr, spoke to Gareth Bale, and shook hands with Casemiro, Eder Militao, and Eden Hazard after posing as a member of the television crew.

He gained entry to the pitch on three separate occasions during the final, adding to the security fears enveloping the event.
