Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka and Tottenham captain Son Heung-min have potentially provoked supporters after appearing together at a Burberry fashion show just days before the north London derby.

The two teams will lock horns for the first time this season at the Emirates on Sunday with one of the Premier League’s fiercest rivalries set to resume.

However, it appears the days of opposition players preparing to wage war against one another are long gone as Saka and Son sat next to each other during an appearance at the London fashion week.

Son joined designer brand Burberry as an ambassador last year and was representing the fashion label at the iconic fashion show as they showcased their Spring Summer 2024 collection.

Meanwhile, Saka was in attendance as a high-profile celebrity and was placed on the front row of the catwalk next to his Tottenham rival.

A video shows the pair looking uncomfortable while sat next to each other as they are asked to reposition themselves by photographers.

Neither look at each other during the exchange while Saka nervously plays with his collar, clearly understanding the view some supporters might have when they see him sat next to the captain of Arsenal’s rivals.

Lifelong Arsenal supporter and Team GB Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah was sat on the other side of Saka.

Son was dressed in classic Burberry styled trousers and a long jacket that draped down to his ankles while Saka opted for an all-black ensemble made up of trousers, jumper and zip-up coat.

The pair were eventually separated by another individual while models began parading the catwalk, however, there was obvious tension between the two superstars.

Saka was also pictured posing with other A-list celebrities in attendance including Nigerian singer Wizkid, British rapper Kano and Arsenal supporter and singer Mabel.

The Arsenal and England star is preparing to make his Champions League debut on Wednesday as the Gunners host Dutch side PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta’s side will then turn their attention to a weekend derby clash with Tottenham.
