Julian Alvarez loses a TOOTH as Manchester City celebrate second goal in Bournemouth rout… with Bernardo Silva pointing out the missing chomper as they hug

Julian Alvarez lost a tooth during Manchester City’s 6-1 victory over Bournemouth.

While Manchester City were celebrating their second strike of the day, scorer Bernardo Silva pointed out the missing fang. 

Alvarez held his hand to his mouth and looked rather surprised, suggesting that he had just lost the chomper. 

In attack, City were far from toothless as they put six goals past the Cherries.

Alongside Silva’s double, Jeremy Doku, Manuel Akanji, Phil Foden, and Nathan Ake got in on the act. 

The precise whereabouts of Alvarez’s tooth, perhaps still at large on the Etihad turf, is unknown.

It was a successful day at the office for Man City, who had five different scorers contribute

 It was another stunning win for Pep Guardiola’s side who have scored 12 goals in their last three outings. 

Erling Haaland could not add to his double against Manchester United but his team-mates ensured that goals came from all over the pitch. 

City’s No 9 limped off after the break, having felt something in Illia Zibarnyi’s brave challenge on him.  

The result elevates them above Tottenham at the top of the Premier League, although they, Arsenal, and Liverpool could all overtake Guardiola’s men with their games in hand. 

Bournemouth remain outside the relegation zone after Burnley’s 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace but Luton Town could overtake them tomorrow when they host Liverpool.
