On-loan Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood could be set to return to action this weekend when Getafe host Osasuna on Sunday afternoon.
Greenwood joined Getafe on loan in the summer following an internal investigation by United, which concluded that his future would be best served elsewhere. He has not featured for the Red Devils since last year when United beat West Ham 1-0 at Old Trafford with an injury-time Marcus Rashford winner.

However, it now looks as though Greenwood could be involved for Getafe this weekend, who recently took to social media to post a video of the England international taking part in a shooting drill in training.
The 20-year-old, who 'can't believe how well his time in Spain is going so far', finished off a quick passing drill with a left-footed finish into a small goal. Getafe coaches in the background can be heard clapping when Greenwood's simple strike hit the back of the net.

However, Getafe manager Jose Bordelas is insisting that the La Liga side must be patient with Greenwood, following his "year and a half without competing". Speaking to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Bordelas said: "It is a great hope and there is a great expectation to see him.
"He has been a year and a half without competing, unemployed, and he is in that period of adaptation and catching up with his teammates. We have to be patient and take care of him.

"The day-to-day will tell us when he is able to compete. You have to have patience. We know the potential and the level that he has. I don’t like to talk on an individual level but the teammates are helping him a lot. The dressing room has welcomed him with open arms, just like the rest of the new players, and everyone has felt the warmth of the group."
So far this term, Getafe have won just one of their opening four La Liga games, defeating Alaves 1-0 back in August. They have however played both Barcelona and Real Madrid so far this season, with them drawing their season opener 0-0 against the Catalan giants, before suffering a 2-1 heartbreak against the latter.
