According to Florian Plettenberg, Tottenham have offered Dier to Bayern ‘again and again’.
Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel considers Dier as an interesting option given that he is capable of operating as a defensive midfielder or at centre-back.
Dier is out of favour at Tottenham and is one of a host of players that the club are looking to offload prior to Friday’s transfer deadline.
The 29-year-old is open to remaining at Tottenham and seeing out the final year of his contract at the club.

However, it remains to be seen whether he could be tempted by the prospect of joining Bayern.
Dier, who has 49 England caps, has yet to play for Tottenham this season and doesn’t appear to be part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
Since joining Tottenham in 2014 Dier has made 361 appearances for the club.
As well as Dier, Tottenham are also looking to move on Sergio Reguilon, Davinson Sanchez and Giovani Lo Celso before the transfer window closes.
Paris Saint-Germain could also reignite their interest in Tanguy Ndombele, who has had loan spells at Napoli and Lyon.
